COURSE DETAILS

General Industrial Stormwater Training

This course qualifies for the annual industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Training required for any facility that is required to maintain a SWPPP. This course covers all aspects of compliance with an industrial SWPPP. The course takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete, includes learning assessments and a certificate to prove the course has been completed. Certificate is valid for 1-year from the date of issue.

Discharges of stormwater from certain industrial activities and construction sites are subject to environmental permitting requirements. Understanding when permits are needed, how to obtain one, how to develop a stormwater pollution prevention plan, and effective implementation techniques is critical to maintaining compliance with this strictly enforced regulatory program.
